I was born in Fort Riley, Kansas, but grew up in Houston, Texas. I specialize in Senior, Family, Maternity, Newborn and Stylized Children's Portraiture. While pursuing my Marketing degree, I always rewarded myself by taking at least one class that I loved each semester to balance my classes out. These classes ranged from music to acting to digital video to traditional photography. Each time I would put my heart into my work. Sometimes feeling guilty for not having as much passion for my other classes like algebra and statistics, but I must say my statistics professor was super passionate about it, so I learned so much because of that.

Anyways, in high school I was one of the editors for my high school yearbook. Back then, I started thinking really creatively about photography. I would come up with creative ideas for the yearbook photoshoots I would do. I wasn't taking photography classes, but instead was in digital video and learning how to edit in Final Cut Pro. At the time, my passion was in videography. But as the years went by, I began to be intrigued by artists. (Thanks Pinterest for making it so accessible.)

So I finally took traditional photography, where I learned everything about the dark room, framing, composition, you name it.

I went full speed. I was taking 4 other classes at the time at UHCL, all very difficult subjects and was excelling at all of them, but spent 80% of any time I had in that dark room. I loved it!!

I spent so much time and money to work on my craft to have the perfect gallery for my end of the semester presentation. My professor and classmates were speechless.

Before I even graduated, I started my small business. With only my passion and my love of photography, I set out on this amazing journey to happiness.

So, now that you know a little about me, just know that I am not just another photographer. My passion truly shines in my work. Ask any past client of mine.

This is my story.

Now let me tell yours. <3
